Chee Soo brought Tai Chi to the Midlands back in the 1980s. He taught evening classes in Coventry at the Alderman Callow school, now called Westwood academy, and he lived in Charter Avenue in Canley. He also taught weekend Course and an Easter and Summer Course lasting three weeks including Tai Chi, Feng Shou kung fu and Health and Massage.
This weekend the Birmingham club at Stirchley Baths in Bourneville will be hosting a Tai Chi course on Saturday 10am-5pm.
The Association’s Easter Course in St Just Cornwall will be from April 6th-10th this year. If you book early there’s a discount. Make sure you reserve your place if you want accommodation as good places are running out as we get closer to the event, first come first served.
Members of the Northern Tai Chi clubs got together to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Rat at York’s Barbican Theatre.
